Google Panda- Threat or Boon

Google keeps on coming up with new things all the time as Google is never finished. With all the data that Google has, it wants to provide the best of results to its users. Google panda is one of its approaches for the same. It was designed in order to bring sites with thick content at the top of search engine results and dooming the sites with low quality content.

Google panda 4.1 is Google’s updated search algorithm and it has been found that since its release, many sites have undergone terrible decrease in their rankings. The worst part is that it can do nothing to improve the ranking of your website, if you want it to give your site the top ranking in SERP (Search Engine Ranking Page), all you have to do is improve the content of your website. Now, how can you prevent your site from being affected by Google panda, prevention is better than cure, so let us discuss the ways to do it-

  1. Filter out low quality content- Any duplicate content, or irrelevant content, or content with grammatical mistakes should be removed from the website, even in e-commerce websites, every product should have a unique description so as to avoid duplicity and not be affected by panda.

  1. Uniqueness in content- try to create unique content, content which you think your readers would love to read and things that they would want to know about, write about things which you like and your readers would like.

  1. Trust worthiness towards the article- the article should be linked to its Facebook and twitter pages and posts so that it can be trusted by the readers as being correct.

  1. Low advertising ratio- we all want to earn from ads, but, too many adds makes the loading of your website slow and hence decreasing the user experience therefore, keep the ratio of adds in balance as Google panda keeps notice of this too.

  1. Keep track of your website through Google analytics- keeping track will help you improve your site content and hence getting better ranks in SEO

Apply the above mentioned tactics for not being affected by Google panda and staying in the top rankings in SERP.
